CMS has been specializing in
dispatch and accounting software for both brokerage and
transport carriers for over 18 years. CMS offers a suite
of software and management products and services
specifically for the truckload segment of the
transportation industry.
In 2003 CMS announced it's
Truckwin Direct Connect dispatch and accounting software
product that interacts with a interactive transportation
hub hosted by CMS at the internet site Shippernet.com.
This allows CMS users to post and remove loads and
available equipment to the site directly from the
dispatch module.
This feature allows users to perform
collaborative transportation services with shippers,
shipper agents and each other very efficiently and
effectively.
In the second quarter of 2005 CMS
also announced the addition of it's Single Post feature
in the dispatch module. This feature allows dispatchers
and brokerage personnel to post and remove loads and
available equipment to over 30 subscription and free
load boards with a single entry to Truckwin's order
board.
CMS has now fully implemented it's
proprietary Nickel a Mile™ profit management system.
The goal of the program is to reach a Nickel a Mile
profit and more than a 20% return on invested capital.
The Nickel a Mile Profit program incorporates the
Truckwin general ledger system of accounts and provides
all the necessary financial information to management
with breakeven points, revenue and expense ratios and
other financial rations necessary to reach the goal of
the program. The program is offered on-line, on-site and
on CD.
